Stuffed pepper



Recepy for one pepper to be stuffed:


  • 1 red bell pepper.

  • 4 oz ground beef.
  • 2 oz parmigiano reggiano cheese.
  • 2 oz bread crumbs.
  • 10 chopped pitted olives.
  • 1/2 chopped white onion.
  • 1 whole egg.
  • 1 oz chopped italian parsley.
  • 2 oz extra virgin olive oil.
  • 1 glow of garlic.
  • 4 oz tomato sauce.
  • 2 or 4 basil leaves

Buon appetito!


Heat a pot pan, add the extra virgin olive oil add the onion and the garlic, let them get golden color, then add the ground beef, let it cook for 5 min add 1/2 glass of Aglianico del Vulture (red wine).
Let it cook until red wine is dried out and take off from the heat, let it cool it down for 5 min, after add the olives, parmigiano reggiano cheese, the egg, the bread crumbs and the parsley, add salt and pepper as your taste is. Mixed very well with your hand!
Once the dough is ready you can start stuffing your "FIRE ROSTED RED PEPPER*". Take a baking dish with 4 oz of tomato sauce and put the stuffed pepper inside and baked for 15 min at 350 F*.
Garnish with a basil and BUON APPETITO!!!
